ServSafe® Certification
The State of Indiana requires that businesses that sell food and alcohol must employ people who are trained and certified to do so in a safe manner. HHC is able to provide the necessary training as required by state law. As a member of the Indiana Restaurant Association, we promote and provide both the ServSafe® Food Protection Manager certification, and the ServSafe Alcohol® training and certification. We offer classes across Indiana as well as eastern Illinois and can also schedule custom classes for your business, and on your schedule.

When it is not possible or practical to base fees on project value, HHC charges as follows:
ServSafe® classes
- ServSafe® Food Protection Manager class and exam: $89 (plus materials)
- ServSafe Alcohol® class and exam: $40
- Indiana Certified Server Training (no ServSafe Alcohol exam or certificate): $30
Business Consulting, and Other Services
- Initial consultation (typically 1-1.5 hours): Complimentary within the state of Indiana. No charge for travel or lodging if within 75 miles of Sheridan, Indiana. Beyond 75 miles, standard mileage rates apply.
- Hourly Rate: $100.00/hr. and billed at 15 minute increments
- Mileage: IRS standard mileage rate for business, currently $.65/mile
- Lodging cost: Actual cost incurred but no more than $150 per day
- Meal cost for overnight travel only: Actual cost but no more than $50 per day
- Other travel costs (airfare, train, parking, etc.): Actual cost
